Our Mission Statement

  • To develop and promote community interest in, and appreciation of visual arts, and to conduct promotional and public relations activities to further this objective.

  • To support our members with instruction, encouragement and promotion

  • To provide our members with a venue in which they can exhibit their art.

  • To provide educational opportunities in the visual arts fields to the local community, and to encourage every interested person to take advantage of what we offer by participating in our creative arts programs.

  • To liaison with other art organizations, businesses, and community groups that provide advice, new ideas, and information about art and artists in our local area.

Central Brevard Art association, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501 (C) 3  educational organization making donations to our purpose tax deductible.  We are a Florida Corporation.   

We welcome support for our programs and objectives by donations and gifts.

Board of Directors/Executive Committee Meetings are 1:00 pm the 2nd Thursday of each month.
General Meetings are 6:00 pm the 3rd Thursday of each month.

All meetings are held at the studio.

 The Central Brevard Art Association (CBAA), offers art classes throughout the week, excepting Sundays.  Being offered is oil, acrylic, water color, pencil, pastel, mixed media, silks, tole painting and jewelry.  Beginners are always welcome, as it’s an opportunity to unleash and develop those hidden talents. Membership is not required to attend classes.  Contact CBAAartists@gmail.com or telephone 321-632-2922 to leave a message.  Instructors will be notified of your interest and converse with you directly on schedule, costs, and materials.
  CBAA’s studio is located at 103 Barton Blvd, Rockledge, behind the former police station.

On-Going Classes:

Tuesdays 9:00 - 12:00 Oils, acrylic or pastels. $15 per class.

It is being taught by Alex Stankiewicz.



Wednesdays 9:00 - 11:30 Dynamic Acrylic Techniques. $20 per class.

It is being taught by Richard Burstrom.



Fridays 9:00 - 11:30 Watercolor. $20 per class.

It is being taught by Susan Blakeslee.



Art in Public Spaces
A benefit of being a member of the Central Brevard Art Association is our program of displaying member's artwork in various venues throughout the county.  This is a great way to get exposure and sell your work.
